I was 62 days postpartum when I had the opportunity to attend the Red Tour at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. I secured meet-and-greet passes through a local radio station and decided to take my mom with me. I don't think Taylor recognized/remembered me and I didn't want to put her on the spot by saying, "Do you remember me?" My high school students sometimes ask me that and I always feel bad if I can't remember their names after years have passed. She did compliment us on our KU shirts and mentioned that her best friend Abigail attended college there. I gave her a birth announcement for my daughter Shae and she said that I should bring her to a concert in the future once she was older.
